I really love watching monkeys! Sometimes they are difficult to photograph because they are so capable of jumping around too fast for me to keep up with them. That was the case with the baby Bonobo. He was so cute but very hard to photograph!
I was a bit bummed that I couldn't get a better picture of the Koala, but as I looked at the pictures I took on my camera screen, I realized there was a second Koala that I didn't see in person. So cute!
The weather was so perfect for a zoo trip! So many of the animals were out an active. I had read online that there is a baby elephant, but we did not see it. It is only out for a couple hours a day and the lines to see it didn't make it worth it for us, so we didn't even try.
I was bummed that there were 3 Cougars and all of them were sleeping and very difficult to see or photograph. I definitely thought it was cool that they have 3 lionesses. Unfortunately I couldn't grab a good picture of the male lion. I LOVED watching the Cheetahs interact! So fun!
I couldn't believe how active the Brown Bears were! I thoroughly enjoyed watching the two of them interact! They were HUGE! I liked when they stuck their lips out!
I was excited to see the Black Bear was active too! Unfortunately he was hard to photograph so those last two pictures are the only ones I got of him.
