Birds Part 2

I have a lot of pictures of birds since there were just so many of them!  I especially liked this purple and white one!  I also like the ones with the long tail-feathers, but they are difficult to get all of them in the picture.  Haha!

Birds

One thing that Toledo seems to have a LOT of is birds.  We spent a while in the large, multi-roomed aviary and walking around the outdoor cages.  Unlike fish, I love seeing all the unique birds because they are often brightly colored and beautiful.

Jellies and More

 I am not quite sure how I feel about fish.  They can be so unique, bizarre, gross, and even scary to me.  But I enjoy capturing them in all they weird splendor.  Hahahaha!

Turtles and More

It took a while, but we were finally able to plan a trip with our friends!  We decided to go to Toledo since it is so close to us and since we went to the art museum last time we went to Toledo together, we decided to go to the zoo this time.  This was the second time Joe and I had been to the zoo.  The first time was about 7 years ago.  I remember not being crazy about it then, but thought it was definitely fine.  I remember that the day we were there it rained so the only pictures I took were with a cell phone.  Anyways, these past 7 years, Joe and I have continued to travel to zoos around us and therefore had more to compare Toledo to.  Unfortunately, we felt that Toledo hasn't improved at all in the past 7 years and since it was only fine before, we realized it just doesn't hold up compared to other zoos.  It is very poorly labeled to the extent that the map was fairly useless and even regulars there weren't much help for us.  Anyways, it was awesome to go on a road trip with our friends and we still had a great trip.  I also got a lot of awesome pictures this time so without further ado, here they are!  😊
