Porcupine and Red Panda

 I saw the porcupines and couple of times because we kept passing them to go back and see the snow leopards and mountain lions.  On one of the times going through, I saw the zookeepers doing training with them which was so dang cute!  Also, I chatted with an employee who told me that the red panda there was a father and she showed me a video of the mama with the 3 babies and I about died from the cuteness overload.  I kinda want to go back in September or October to see the babies out in the enclosure.

 I thought the frogs were so stinkin cute!

Lynx and Tiger

Despite how much I love big cats, I wasn't quite as excited to see these guys since the Fort Wayne Zoo has lynx and tigers too.  But I do like seeing how different these individuals look compared to the ones I'm used to seeing at my zoo.

 

Mountain Lion

 I got chills when we saw the Mountain Lions!  They were one of the main reasons I wanted to go to this zoo.  After we had done everything we wanted to see at the zoo, we went back to see them again.  I just couldn't get enough of them, even if they were mostly sleeping.  I was glad I caught so many moments where they popped their heads up to see what was going on before go back to sleep.  So cool!

Snow Leopard

 I was so incredibly excited to see snow leopards!!  I think we walked by them like 3 times.  They were mostly sleeping, but I was thrilled to catch a glimpse of one getting up to move to a new sleeping spot.  Unfortunately, the sun was shinning on the bars of their enclosure so these are the best pictures I have.  

Random

 Y'all, I absolutely loved seeing the Capybara!  He looked SO fluffy and I just wanted to give him a hug.  Also, I adore how derpy the meerkats look.  I mean, they just don't seem to have a clue what's going on around them and I love that.  Hah!

Chimpanzee

 I got chills seeing this old chimpanzee.  I could tell he's seen so much in his life.  I could sense his intelligence and understanding.  To be honest, it kinda freaked me out a bit.  Haha!
