Learning the Ropes

This little girl is quickly becoming a big girl!  I had so much fun watching her learn how to climb on the ropes as her mamma stayed close-by with a helping hand.  :)  

Australian Adventures

I had fun watching this little Kangaroo as well as the mamma with her joey in the back!  All the animals in the Australian Adventures looked happy and lazy.  Haha!  :)

Sharks

I really enjoy watching sharks of all different kinds!  This first shark didn't stay where I could get many pictures, but the others kept coming back for more.  :)

More Sea Lions

These Sea Lions were interacting with those of us on the other side of the glass and it was so neat to watch!  I think they were waiting to be feed.  :)  In case you can't tell, they were pressing their faces against the glass.  It was so funny!

Silly "Little" Giraffe

In general, I automatically like baby animals better than the adults because smaller usually means cuter.  This is definitely true with giraffes!  This "little" giraffe was being so cute and silly!  I watched him for a while and right before I was about to leave, I saw him chase after some geese that were nearby.  It was awesome!  Hahaha!  :)

Giraffes

I like watching giraffes at the zoo!  I especially love seeing the adults interacting with the younger ones!  I find the size difference and how they handle their differences to be intriguing.  :)

Lemurs

I say it a lot, but in case you are forgetting, I LOVE LEMURS!  I think they are so cute, and they are so entertaining to watch!!  I love watching them interact with each other!  These lemurs were having a lot of fun together!  

So they sniffed noses, and then the one on the right stuffed his face in the dirt while the other one started meditating.  Hahahahaha!  :)

This makes me laugh whenever I see it!  In case you are wondering why something looks wrong with this picture, it is because the lemur on the left was starting to leap away from the other lemur at the same moment that I took the picture.  I thought it was too funny to not share!  Hahaha!  

Birds

I like watching birds because they are all so unique!  They vary so much in size, shape, and color that I don't think I could ever get bored!  I will admit, that out of the birds at the zoo, I find the hawk to be the most interesting!  There is so much strength concealed beneath the feathers.

Red Pandas

I really do love watching the Red Pandas!!  They were both up walking around for a bit until one decided to bop the other one on the head.  Of course the bopped panda looked offended that he got hit, and as he looked at the other panda, he got bopped again.  I seriously was laughing too hard to keep taking pictures.  It was so funny!  :)

Prairie Dogs

I really like that all of these Prairie Dogs look like they are grumpy old men who are watching kids in their lawn.  Their squinty eyes make them look offended by everything.  Hahaha!  But seriously, am I the only one that sees that?!??
