Crowned Cranes

Okay, I think these Crowned Cranes are SO BEAUTIFUL!  I would be very interested in learning how they live in the wild in their native regions.  I can't imagine that they blend into their surroundings very well...  Haha :)

Cranes and Other Birds

I don't know the names of all these different birds, but I thought they were all worth taking photographs of!  I love the variety of sizes and colors!  They are all so interesting to me!

Parrots

SO MANY BEAUTIFUL COLORS!!  I seriously LOVE parrots!!  As you can tell by all the pictures, I watched them for quite a while!!  They were very interested in me.  They did seem fairly cautious of my camera.  I don't think they liked seeing their reflection in the camera lens.  :)

Ostrich

I have always thought ostriches are rather ugly looking.  And from my experience, they are not very nice...  Hahaha.   I do think that their faces are interesting in a weird sort of way.  :)

Owls

I really like owls so much!  They seem to have so much personality!  I mean, that owl looks like he is smiling for the camera!  :)

Tigers

I LOVE Tigers!!  They are so beautiful and elegant!  They seem so regal no matter what they are doing!

Baby Lemur Twins

I am seriously OBSESSED with these twins!!  I mean, how could you not be completely in love?!?!  I felt so privileged to get these photographs since their mother keeps them sheltered and hidden so much!  It took a lot of patience to capture these moments, and I am so glad I waited!!  :)

Prairie Dog

The zoo has had this exhibit for as long as I can remember.  I vaguely remember when I was much younger, that you could see lots of prairie dogs scurrying throughout this area.  But in the years since, I thought it was just an empty exhibit.  That is until recently when I was there.  I happened to look over and something caught my eye.  There is still at least one chubby prairie dog living in the zoo's exhibit!  :)

Binturong

I don't know very much at all about these animals, but I was pretty excited to see one awake!  Normally they are curled up sleeping and I can't see them very well.  They actually have a pretty cute face!  :)

Kangaroos

Kangaroos are pretty neat!  Although it does seem like every time I see them at the zoo, they are just laying around only half awake.  :)
