Birds

I like watching birds because they are all so unique!  They vary so much in size, shape, and color that I don't think I could ever get bored!  I will admit, that out of the birds at the zoo, I find the hawk to be the most interesting!  There is so much strength concealed beneath the feathers.

Red Pandas

I really do love watching the Red Pandas!!  They were both up walking around for a bit until one decided to bop the other one on the head.  Of course the bopped panda looked offended that he got hit, and as he looked at the other panda, he got bopped again.  I seriously was laughing too hard to keep taking pictures.  It was so funny!  :)

Prairie Dogs

I really like that all of these Prairie Dogs look like they are grumpy old men who are watching kids in their lawn.  Their squinty eyes make them look offended by everything.  Hahaha!  But seriously, am I the only one that sees that?!??

Zebra and Wildebeest

Some of the Wildebeest were being super lazy.  Haha!  :)  I really like that I can watch the Zebras and the Wildebeest as they live together.  :)

Honey Badger

So, I got behind again with sharing my pictures of wildlife at the zoo.  :(  The process of buying and moving into a new home sure did mess up my schedule!  So I hope that you all will check back regularly again for more posts because they are gonna keep coming!  :)  

This Honey Badger was having a lazy day in the sun.  This is what I think everyone should be allowed to do on a Monday morning.  :)

Baby Swamp Monkey

This little guy was born in January and is already a crazy, mischievous little monkey!  He loves running around and playing with the other monkeys!  And he likes to stick his tongue out.  Hahaha!  :)

Penny

Happy Caturday!  I don't normally post pictures of my pretty kitty, Penny, because she normally doesn't let me take her picture.  I managed to get these pictures recently and wanted to share them with you.  :)

Hyena

I have never thought hyenas were very interesting animals because every time I see them, they are sleeping.  However, on this day, I saw this girl up and walking around.  I watched her for a while.  I guess hyenas are more interesting than I realized.  :)

Orangutan

I was SO glad I got to witness this!  It was so adorable watching this big tough guy eat lettuce!  He seemed to really be enjoying it!  He looked so happy and enthralled by what he was doing!  :)
