Cockatiels

The bird house was also home to cockatiels!  They were pretty and very active!  My sister-in-law brought a stick with food on it and "caught" a cockatiel.  :)

Parakeets

I LOVED being in the bird house with all these BEAUTIFUL birds!  I really liked watching the parakeets!  They come in SO many bright, pretty colors!!  :)

Brown Bear Again

As I mentioned yesterday, I REALLY enjoyed watching this big brown bear as he was taking a stroll around his enclosure.  :)

Brown Bear

These are more pictures from the Washington Park Zoo in Michigan city!  I was able to see this big brown bear walking around his enclosure!  He was huge!  I was pretty mesmerized by him!  :)

Tigers

This beauty was sleeping for a while in the morning until he heard his breakfast coming.  He woke up really quickly!  Haha!  :)

Bobcat

Caturday should be everyday because there are so many awesome big cats!  I really like this beautiful Bobcat!  :)

Unusual Peacock

It seems like ever zoo has a bunch of peacocks that wander around throughout the place.  I always enjoy seeing them, especially when they spread their feathers.  I am used to seeing the blue and green peacocks and I have even grown accustomed to the all white ones.  However, I have never seen a peacock that is a mixture of the two the way this one was!  I really love the markings and coloration of this peacock!  What a beauty!  :)

Eagles Again

I know it is difficult to get a sense of how big Eagles are from just seeing pictures, but I am telling you, these are some intimidating birds!  Their beaks and falcons are huge, their eyes are intense, and their wing span is very impressive!  They are majestic creatures, and I felt very patriotic just looking at them!  Haha!  :)

Eagles

I don't think I had ever seen Eagles in person before until I saw these guys at the Washington Park Zoo.  They are so awesome, and so incredibly big!  They are so much bigger than I expected!  :)

Australian Animals

These pictures were taken at the Washington Park Zoo in Michigan City.  The zoo was fairly small, but still quite nice!  These animals were a part of their Australian enclosure.
