The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is open for the 2019 season. Today I was able to go which was very exciting for me! I am also very excited to have new pictures to share with you all now! I'll start off with these cuties! I really enjoyed seeing the new enclosure for the Capuchin monkeys. I missed seeing these adorable little guys last season.

Orangutan
Happy Halloween! Today is the last day I have pictures to post. I really do hope to take more before next year that I can post on here, but I just don't know if that will happen. But I have a lot of posts on this blog over the span of a few years and many of you have probably missed at least some posts, so feel free to dig through the older posts. You may find it particularly interesting to look at the other posts of Asmara to see how much she has grown. She's getting so big! She hasn't lost that childlike wonder in her eyes though. 😊

Bat Earred Fox and Banded Mongoose
I am almost to the end of the pictures I got from the zoo while it was open for the season. I hope to get more pictures of wildlife before next year when they open again. I guess you'll have to wait and see.

Zebra, Wildebeest, and Hyena
All of these animals seemed to be feeling especially lazy. Or maybe they wanted to rest up for the weekend.

Birds
I enjoy getting pictures of the various birds. I found a couple I hadn't noticed before when they literally crossed my path. 😁

Stingrays
These stingrays seemed really happy that people were there paying attention to them. There was one stingray in particular that was coming up to the surface of the water and splashing the water out onto me. The first time he did it, I got a bit wet, so I made sure my camera wasn't getting wet by standing really far back to get these pictures. I did take the opportunity to touch him one of the times he came up to splash me. He clearly was having a lot of fun. 😊
