Zebra Shark

The zebra shark was actually swimming around instead of laying at the bottom.  I was thrilled that I was able to get the whole shark in one picture!  That's a big guy!

Groupers

New this season at the zoo are this pair of groupers.  They seem ridiculously large to me already, but apparently they can get much bigger.  I'm not really a fan of obnoxiously big fish, but I still got pictures of these two.

Fishes

I always appreciate how clean the aquariums are at the zoo at the beginning of the season.  The inside glass is free of any algae and the outside is free of children's hand prints.  I generally spend a decent amount of time photographing as many fish as I can since I know I can get better pictures now than at the end of the season.  In fact, it often gets dirty enough later that I will often skip checking out the aquariums all together so I can spend more time in other parts of the zoo.

Stingrays

Random

I couldn't figure out what to call this assortment of pictures, so here are my random pictures from my first visit of the season to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.

Serval and Dingos

Seeing how much a Serval acts like a normal house cat always makes me laugh.  It was very interested in something that it could see.  I also enjoy how the Dingos really look exactly like any other pupper or doggo.  😁  I'm pretty sure if I saw one in the wild, I would just run up and try to pet it.  😂

Cockatiels

I am quite sure that the cockatiel on the left could see his reflection in my camera lens because he seemed very interested in posing for pictures.  The one on the right seemed uncomfortable with how close I was so it quickly left.

Birds

I'll admit that I often walk past the birds without taking pictures, but I decided I should get some updated pictures of them.

More Monkeys

I really love how basically all monkeys have a wide variety of facial expressions.  This first monkey doesn't appear to be very happy.  Or maybe he is really bored.  I guess we'll never know!

Capuchin Monkeys

The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is open for the 2019 season.  Today I was able to go which was very exciting for me!  I am also very excited to have new pictures to share with you all now!  I'll start off with these cuties!  I really enjoyed seeing the new enclosure for the Capuchin monkeys.  I missed seeing these adorable little guys last season.
