These are more random pictures I took recently. I hope you weren't expecting a lot of reading on this blog. I really just want to share the pictures. 😊

Canada Lynx
This guy seemed restless and was wandering all around his enclosure. It was nice to get some action shots instead of the typical sleeping ones.

Wildebeest
I don't take too many pictures of the wildebeest because they are often way off grazing or sleeping. However, I finally caught them up close. They noticed me and stopped eating to watch. It was pretty neat and I really like these pictures!

Canadian Goose and Mallard Ducks
In my efforts to get pictures of some of the less obvious animals of the zoo, I have taken a notice to the various birds in the area. I spotted this goose and thought it made a nice portrait. I was pretty excited when I then spotted a male mallard duck. I think they are so pretty! I noticed the female on the bank nearby and snapped a picture of her for good measure. Right after that, I realized she had a crew of babies following her! I counted 10 of those little cuties!! 😍

Random Birds
I am already at the point of getting backed up with lots of pictures to post from my weekly zoo trips, so in an effort to get them posted as quickly as possible, I am going to really limit what I write. I hope you all don't mind! I'm fairly convinced none of you really actually care to read what I say anyways; ya'll are just here for the pretty pictures. 😁

Tigers
These pictures are now from my second visit to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. I am hoping that I can go once a week, but I don't know if that will always happen. Anyways, I was SO happy to see the tigers on this trip since I hadn't seen them on the previous trip. Not only did I see them, but I caught them chasing each other! It was brief and mostly in the densest part of their enclosure, so I didn't get any pictures of that, but I did get pictures of when they decided to go their separate ways. The male came towards the front of the enclosure and laid down. He played with a stick for a few minutes but then seemed to get bored. It was neat to spend a few minutes just marveling at these big, silly kitties. 😁
