Giraffes

Not only were the lemurs out, but the giraffes were finally out as well!  I'm loving this weather!

Lemurs and Red Panda

I was SO happy to finally see the lemurs!  It was too cold when the zoo first opened for the season for them to be out.  I'm so glad it warmed up!  I love lemurs!  I also caught the red panda, Justin, up walking around instead of sleeping like he normally does when I go to see him.  Hahaha.

Canada Lynx

This guy seemed restless and was wandering all around his enclosure.  It was nice to get some action shots instead of the typical sleeping ones.

Lions

I REALLY love lions.  I was quite happy to finally see them at the zoo!!

Wildebeest

I don't take too many pictures of the wildebeest because they are often way off grazing or sleeping.  However, I finally caught them up close.  They noticed me and stopped eating to watch.  It was pretty neat and I really like these pictures!

Canadian Goose and Mallard Ducks

In my efforts to get pictures of some of the less obvious animals of the zoo, I have taken a notice to the various birds in the area.  I spotted this goose and thought it made a nice portrait.  I was pretty excited when I then spotted a male mallard duck.  I think they are so pretty!  I noticed the female on the bank nearby and snapped a picture of her for good measure.   Right after that, I realized she had a crew of babies following her!  I counted 10 of those little cuties!!  😍

Random Birds

I am already at the point of getting backed up with lots of pictures to post from my weekly zoo trips, so in an effort to get them posted as quickly as possible, I am going to really limit what I write.  I hope you all don't mind!  I'm fairly convinced none of you really actually care to read what I say anyways; ya'll are just here for the pretty pictures.  😁
