Justin, the red panda, celebrated his 7th birthday earlier this month! I really like Justin and am sad that he is so old now. 😔

Black and White Stripes
Aren't I getting just so creative in how I split up my pictures??!! 😂 Since the focus of this blog is the pictures themselves, I find it difficult to figure out what to say. I'm pretty sure y'all don't even care what I say because you only visit this blog to see the pretty animal pictures. 😁

African Animals
I couldn't come up with a way to divide up my most recent pictures, so instead of calling this random like I typically do, I decided to split it up by where they are found in the zoo. These animals are all a part of the African Journey. 😊

River Otters and Sea Lions
The new river otter enclosure makes it such that it is really easy to get great pictures of them. I have SO many pictures of them that they are starting to all look the same. I was glad to catch the one standing up. I also finally got some good pictures of a sea lion. This guy was holding this awkward pose while slowly spinning in a circle. I took some pictures and then mostly just watched. I couldn't stop laughing at how silly he looked! It was hilarious!

Birds
I have no idea what that last bird is. I think it looks like a fancy chicken. 😂 But seriously, how weird and cool are those feathers???!!

Big Cats
Happy Caturday from Ina, Thor, and um... hold on while I check... Samson! These are some of my favorite animals at the zoo! I rarely get to see Thor because he's actually a new(ish) daddy! I can't wait to see those little lynx babies!!!

Amur Leopard
THE ZOO GOT ANOTHER AMUR LEOPARD!!!! If you can't tell, I'm SO excited! I found out this guy is just over a year old. Unfortunately, we will only have him for this zoo season and then he is being sent off somewhere else to be with a female, probably to breed. I REALLY hope I can continue to get good pictures of him in the short time we have left with him! So far, he always seems to just be pacing in the back.
