Gotta be honest, I could have stayed all day at Black Pine just to watch this cougar. My husband can confirm that I was pretty obsessed. I don't think it was my first time seeing one in person, but I was just so captivated. I was quite disappointed that the leopards were gone while their enclosure was being worked on. In general, I really love big cats!

Tigers at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary
My husband and I took an impromptu trip to Black Pine Animal Sanctuary earlier this month. It was so fun! They have a whole lot of tigers. I didn't get pictures of all of them. In fact, I didn't really take as many pictures as I would have liked because my dumb self knew my battery was low and just grabbed an extra battery without checking it. Turns out my extra battery was already dead. So I had one low battery to use the whole time. Oh well. 😂

Sea Lions
I think I missed this picture when I was sorting through pictures so it's all by itself as the last of that batch of pictures from the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. Tomorrow I have some different, exciting stuff to post! 😊

Clouded Leopard
THE ZOO GOT A CLOUDED LEOPARD AND I FINALLY SAW IT!!! As you know by now if you actually pay any attention at all to this blog and what is written, I LOVE big cats! I was seriously SO excited to see this majestic animal in person and have the privilege of photographing such a beautiful creature!

Red Panda
Justin, the red panda, celebrated his 7th birthday earlier this month! I really like Justin and am sad that he is so old now. 😔

Black and White Stripes
Aren't I getting just so creative in how I split up my pictures??!! 😂 Since the focus of this blog is the pictures themselves, I find it difficult to figure out what to say. I'm pretty sure y'all don't even care what I say because you only visit this blog to see the pretty animal pictures. 😁

African Animals
I couldn't come up with a way to divide up my most recent pictures, so instead of calling this random like I typically do, I decided to split it up by where they are found in the zoo. These animals are all a part of the African Journey. 😊

River Otters and Sea Lions
The new river otter enclosure makes it such that it is really easy to get great pictures of them. I have SO many pictures of them that they are starting to all look the same. I was glad to catch the one standing up. I also finally got some good pictures of a sea lion. This guy was holding this awkward pose while slowly spinning in a circle. I took some pictures and then mostly just watched. I couldn't stop laughing at how silly he looked! It was hilarious!
