Orangutans and Gibbons

I am amazed at how big Asmara is now!  It was raining when I took these pictures, and Asmara seemed interested in feeling it falling through the hole in the roof of their enclosure.  It was quite precious to witness!  😊

I didn't know how to categorize these pictures.  A lot of these animals are ones I tend to walk by without paying too much attention to, but this time, I did stop to grab these pictures.  😊

Monkeys

I'm getting around to posting the last pictures I have from the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo this past season.  I miss seeing all these monkeys playing and can't wait until they open next season!

Lynx Kittens

These kittens are quite big and quite capable of lots of shenanigans, which makes them even more fun to watch!  😊

Otters, Sea lions, Penguins, and Ducks

I have had trouble in the past getting pictures of the sea lions because if there are too many other people around, it becomes nearly impossible to get pictures without lots of reflections.  However, towards the end of the season, there typically aren't as many people which makes these pictures possible. 

Orangutans and Squirrels

Enjoy some orangutans and squirrels just doing their thing.  😄

I don't normally take pictures of this hornbill, but he caught my attention and I couldn't just walk by.  😊

Gibbons

I was SO happy to see these gibbons enjoying this beautiful day instead of mindlessly doing their usual sleeping and grooming.  They were so active and seemed just as interested in watching me as I was in watching them!

Birds and Mice

There are days I can walk through here and not see any animals and then other times I see SO many animals all around me!

Giraffe, Zebra, and Wildebeest

I always like seeing giraffe eat grass because they normally look so weird bent over so far.  This giraffe is still kind young so she didn't have as far to bend.  😁
