I hoped to get to the zoo a few more times before they closed, but the weather and my schedule don't always cooperate. I was pretty happy to be able to spend so much time watching the Tasmanian Devils as they played and fought. They were pretty loud at points, and the noises they made were a bit unsettling. But it was such a cool thing to experience, and I was completely alone which I also love.
I can't believe how big this chick is getting! It's growing like a weed! It's so stinking cute!!
Fall just may be my favorite time to visit the zoo. I don't like crowds and typically there aren't too many people there.
I love how quiet the zoo is at the end of the season when it's starting to get cold and kids are back in school. It's so peaceful!
I'm obsessed with the happy blinks I got from the Serval! It felt just like when my cats show me they love me with the slow blinks from across the room.
I think this giraffe must have been coming into heat or something because the male was following her around, being sure to stay close by.
I love these Lemurs so much! I'm thrilled that the zoo got some again as I missed seeing them last year.
