Penguins, Sea Lions, and Dolphins

 I happened to see the penguins right when they were getting fed!  It was so fun watching them zoom through the water to grab their food!

Fish

 I'm finally caught up with all the pictures I took at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo last season, and now I'm getting around to posting the pictures I took at the Indy Zoo last November.  I went by myself while Joe was speaking at a conference nearby.  It was gorgeous weather and barely anyone there.  I had a wonderful time!  I ended up with enough time to go through everything twice before Joe was done.  It was such a fun experience!  I have over 150 pictures to share, so here we go!

These pictures of Bahati posing like the majestic beast he is are the last pictures I have from last season at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.  However, I discovered a folder of pictures from the Indy Zoo I totally forgot about... so more pictures coming soon!

Random

 One of the reasons I love the zoo in the fall is that it is so quiet and peaceful as there usually aren't many people there.  Even the animals seem to feel that desire to just rest.

African Journey

 I really love these warm fall colors from the leaves turning orange.  Fall is one of my favorite times of year to visit the zoo.  Unfortunately the weather can be quite unpredictable, so oftentimes I just make a quick, 1-hour trip when I have a free afternoon.  There are only a few more weeks now until the zoo opens for the season.  I can't wait!
