Happy Friday! I hope you spend the weekend like these guys: eating! Haha! I really do love getting progression shots of animals eating! So cute!

South White Rhinoceros
These two rhinos are sisters who have both made a huge impact by having lots of babies over a 10 year span. Now they are living out their retirement at the Knoxville Zoo!

Prairie Dogs, a Red Panda, and Random Birds
This little prairie dog was being SO cute as he ate that wheat so I had to show the progression! I don't normally photograph a lot of birds, but I decided to stop for all of these. I'm so glad that I did!

Chimpanzees
I think if I keep saying every animal was fascinating to me, you wouldn't believe me anymore, but I don't know what else to say because I really love animals and find basically all of them fascinating! I could sit and watch these guys all day, but it was hot and my husband didn't want to stay.

Chacoan Peccaries
I don't know what it was exactly about these little guys, but I was so fascinated by them! They were so fun to watch! They looked like a pig mixed with a hedgehog. Haha!

Elephants
I really enjoy seeing Elephants and these did not disappoint! Elephants display such strength and dignity in everything they do. They are also obviously quite large! In fact, the last picture shows a bull that is actually the largest in North America! He was quite impressive to see!

African Painted Dogs and Lioness
The lioness might have been sleepy, but the African Painted Dogs were VERY playful! They were chasing each other, playing tug-of-war, and having a lot of fun fighting. Eventually they seemed to get tired and some of them split up to take naps.
