Flamingos and Parrots

 The flamingo looked extra bright and colorful on the beautiful day when I was at the Indy Zoo last fall.

I'm so behind, so I'm just trying to quickly get these pictures posted.  I like when I can capture the free roaming wildlife often seen in zoos.  In this case, a squirrel.  Haha!

Kangaroos!

I absolutely adore these kangaroos!  I mean, I love the ones at the Fort Wayne zoo too, but the way these always look so sad just is too cute.  I had an amazing time in with these kangaroos.  For a long time, it was just me and a zoo worker.  I was carefully and quietly moving around them to take pictures of them as many were in the path way.  Before I was finally ready to head out of their enclosure to keep working my way through the zoo, I stopped to chat with the zoo worker in with them.  At some point in our conversation, she mentioned that I could pet them as long as I always stayed on the path and only pet their backs, away from their faces.  I was blown away.  I immediately went up to the closest one on the path so I could pet it.  The lady offered to take my picture with the one I was petting.  It was such an awesome experience and I am so grateful to have pictures to remember it by!

Dolphin Show

 These uploaded in reverse order and I'm too lazy to fix it.  Haha!  I was so excited when I realized that I could see the dolphin show at the Indy zoo with no extra charge - it was included in the admission fee.  I will say that I distinctly remember getting a bazillion notifications on my phone and being very distracted and then disappointed when I realized the show was over and I wasn't really paying attention.  But I'm sure I'll end up at the Indy zoo at some point this summer and can see this again.  😊

Monkeys

 I love watching the monkeys because there are just so many of them!  Everywhere I looked I could find at least one.  I liked watching them interact as little groups for grooming.  Too cute!
