I tend to walk past Zebras at zoos in order to get to the more "exciting" animals, but I am glad that I stopped to watch and photograph them for a bit. They are so unique even if they are "boring". :)

Baby Wildebeest with Mother
I really enjoyed watching this baby wildebeest with his mother! He has such wobbly and knobbly legs! I thought it was brilliant when he finally laid down to eat instead of being up on his little legs. :)

Plains Animals
These pictures were taken of animals that all graze together at the Toledo Zoo. I am not sure what the name of all of these animals are, but they were pretty neat to watch! :)

Snow Leopard
Caturday is back in it's full glory!! I know it's been a while since I have posted any pictures of the numerous types of glorious cats there are in this world, but I have decided once again to celebrate all the wonderful "cats" I have captured. I am starting up with the wonderful Snow Leopard. Like any cat, I find this species fascinating to watch, even if they are just sleeping. :)

Chipmunk and Squirrel
That chipmunk was probably the friendliest wild chipmunk I have ever met! I couldn't believe how close he let me get to him! He probably thought I was going to give him food. :)
Both of these pictures were taken at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. :)

Meerkats
I think these animals are so cute! I could waste hours just watching them run around and stand sentry! I love seeing how they operate as a community. And I think it is awesome that a group is called a "mob" or a "gang"! Haha! :)

Cockatiel
There was a time in my life when all I wanted was a Cockatiel. I was young and had no money so I started searching the newspaper for ads of anyone who might be selling one. I did some research and before long, I realized that I probably couldn't afford a Cockatiel. Instead, I got two lovely Parakeets. I still have never owned a Cockatiel, and I still think it would be fun to have one. But for now, I have my heart set on a puppy. :)

Bat-Eared Foxes
Today is another day of these adorable Bat-Eared Foxes! They look so cute as they cuddle together! I think they also look like they are always smiling. :)

Bat-Eared Fox Stretching
I have been going through all the pictures I took last summer at various different zoos and I realized that I haven't shared any of them with you all. So I decided to share all of my favorites with you. :)
I am starting with the cute little Bat-Eared Fox! I love the little face it makes when it stretches! :)

Max and Lexie
This past weekend I was dog sitting a couple of dogs that I have known for a very long time. They belong to my best friend’s family. We have been friends since 2nd grade. :) I had a lot of fun with Max (the terrier) and Lexie (the shiba inu)! In some ways they are so incredibly different from each other, and yet they are clearly the best of friends. They were almost always together. It is obvious that Max is the instigator that gets them in trouble because Lexie is otherwise very laid back in nature. My cat, Penny, didn’t seem to be pleased with me for letting dogs in the house once again. In fact, she scratched my hand when I initially tried to introduce her to the dogs. But after a couple days, she started to venture out of the office where she was hiding. I couldn’t help myself, so I took some pictures of the dogs and I thought I should share them with you all. :) They are both getting so old, and it is starting to show, but that doesn’t make them any less cute. :)
Aren't they so cute?!? :)
