I was excited to see one of the tigers up and moving around instead of sleep in the corner. I was a bit shocked though when she leaped at the window. It was super impressive to see how high she can jump! Unfortunately, I believe this is a sign of stress and explains why there are often barricades keeping people from getting that close to the windows where she can stalk them.
I was so excited to see the sloth on the move! It wasn't quite as slow as I expected. But it was quite careful with its movements. I was glad I caught this!
I rarely take pictures of the penguins as they are often just standing around when I am passing by them. But on this day, I saw some swimming which is always so fun to watch and photograph.
The giraffes were all feeling the beautiful weather! Some were up at the railing, hoping for some lettuce. As often as I see them, I still find myself surprised when they are so close at just how large they are. So neat!
